Dr David Thackray
Born 17th September 1948 - not 1970 as stated above! Currently Head of Archaeology for the National Trust. I have worked for the NT since 1975. I went to Cambridge University, St John's College in 1967 to study Archaeology and Anthropology, where I subsequently took an MA and a PhD. I married Caroline in 1975, and we live in Gloucestershire. I keep in touch indirectly, through my sister Liz, with Staff Taylor, who married a school friend of Liz, Jenny.
